We are seeking an **Occupational Safety Technician** to implement safety measures while monitoring transportation and logistics operations, overseeing protective measures for the physical integrity of company drivers, third-party drivers, affiliates, administrative and operational support staff at branches, as well as the safety of other road users, company facilities, and customers—aiming to minimize accident risks during loading/unloading and transit, in compliance with traffic and road safety regulations, company policies, and client requirements. If you seek challenges, professional development, and wish to join a solid company that values people and results, this could be your place. **Build your career journey with Transpanorama!** For questions regarding application to our openings, access support by clicking here: https://support\-candidates.gupy.io/hc/pt\-br **Responsibilities and duties** As Transpanorama’s **Occupational Safety Technician**, you will perform the following activities: * Conduct Weekly Safety Dialogues (WSD) with employees, contractors, cleaning staff, operational support staff, and administrative staff; * Ensure all head office employees receive onboarding and refresher training on proper use of PPEs and engineering controls (EPCs), occupational safety procedures, and emergency response protocols; * Guarantee correct supply, registration, and usage of PPEs and EPCs according to hazards identified in the PPRA and LTCAT, verifying validity and approval certificates, and ensuring timely replacement; * Support CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention), Emergency Brigades, and other committees related to Safety, Health, and Environment (SH&E); * Ensure completion and updating of NR-04 accident statistical boards; * Perform, as required, issuance of Work Accident Reports (CAT) and investigations into work-related accidents and occupational diseases, followed by issuing investigation reports, safety alerts, and necessary corrective actions to prevent recurrence; * Ensure all contractors comply with the Third-Party Hiring Manual and receive safety guidance before and during commencement of activities; * Conduct, as required, task-specific safety analyses for employees and contractors, and issue Risk Work Permits for non-routine activities; * Conduct monthly checklists for inspection of facilities and emergency equipment across all company departments, taking necessary corrective actions for identified deviations; * Ensure employees, contractors, and other individuals accessing the workshop correctly use required PPEs for occupational safety and health; * Carry out periodic safety inspections in common areas of the company, reporting deviations and improvement suggestions to responsible parties; * Monitor safety violations committed by employees and contractors, alerting coordinators and supervisors about such deviations and applying appropriate disciplinary measures when necessary; * Ensure all employees and third parties within your scope of responsibility remain updated on company SH&E procedures and contractual requirements of clients; * Review and update safety documents, procedures, and work instructions, ensuring timely updates in relevant systems and bulletin boards; * Submit all occupational safety and health (OSH) documentation related to an employee’s record to the Human Resources Department upon termination; arrange and follow up on employee healthcare referrals in case of accidents. **Requirements and qualifications** **Basic requirements:** * Experience in occupational health and safety. * High school diploma and certification as Occupational Safety Technician. **You’ll stand out if you have:** * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; * Experience in the transportation sector. **Additional information** **Benefits Designed For You!** At Transpanorama, your well-being, development, and quality of life come first.
