Job Summary:
We are seeking an Economist to conduct strategic investment and concession analyses for transportation infrastructure, particularly in the railway sector.
Key Highlights:
1. Work on strategic projects with significant impact in the railway sector
2. Economic and financial modeling of railway concessions
3. Analysis and structuring of Capex and Opex for railway projects
We are looking for an Economist with experience in infrastructure project modeling—especially in the railway sector—to perform strategic investment and concession analyses.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Analyze economic\-financial models of railway concessions.
* Evaluate and structure Capex for expansion, sustaining, and Opex for railway projects.
* Participate in the analysis and preparation of Railway Obligation Handbooks.
* Support feasibility studies, demand forecasts, revenue and cost projections, and performance indicators.
* Contribute to risk analysis, sensitivity analysis, and scenario structuring.
REQUISITOS:
* Degree in Economics (Postgraduate qualification is a plus).
* Proven experience in economic\-financial modeling applied to transportation infrastructure.
* Experience with railway projects (desirable \- strong advantage).
* Advanced Excel proficiency; knowledge of modeling software (e.g., @Risk, VBA, Power BI) is desirable.
