




Job Summary: Responsible for identifying, mapping, and documenting processes; conducting purchases in domestic and international markets; negotiating with suppliers; and proposing improvements to the procurement chain. Identify, map, and document existing processes \- Procure requested materials, services, and products from domestic and international markets. \- Prepare instructions for price collection. \- Issue necessary documentation for the procurement process. \- Propose improvements to methods and processes within the procurement chain. \- Negotiate with suppliers. \- Consult and analyze catalogs, manuals, and other promotional materials to enable accurate purchasing decisions. \- Plan key procurements required for project implementation, defining supply lines, timelines, and strategies. \- Participate in demand planning for materials jointly with end users—both for operating expenses and capital expenditures—providing market information and historical consumption data. \- Propose contracting strategies for services, equipment, and materials (typically in complex markets), aiming to generate value, ensure supply continuity, and foster innovation. \- Ensure selection of competitive suppliers through strategy development, team and role definition, negotiation preparation, supplier recommendations, and implementation of required changes and agreements with user departments. \- Conduct supplier market assessments, identifying opportunities, gaps, strengths, and weaknesses via benchmarking to support continuous improvement. \- Analyze economic indicators affecting material and equipment costs, and be capable of evaluating, critiquing, and proposing cost-basket compositions reflecting cost evolution over time. \- Execute procurement and monitor due diligence stages. \- Collect information, perform critical analysis, and develop and implement action plans for suppliers at potential risk (e.g., insolvency, contractual default). \- Enable operational integration with suppliers, focusing on mitigating procurement risks and defining tools for expenditure and savings tracking. \- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills for processes and results.
