SENIOR IMPORT ANALYST

#### **About the position:** The Import Analyst is responsible for coordinating and monitoring all processes related to the importation of goods, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, deadlines, and established costs. This role involves document management, interaction with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance. #### **Key responsibilities:** * Analyze international purchase orders and monitor the import process from order placement through delivery; * Control and prepare documentation required for customs clearance (invoices, packing lists, certificates, licenses, etc.); * Negotiate and communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers; * Monitor the international transit of goods, tracking shipping deadlines and transport conditions; * Monitor customs clearance and resolve potential impediments; * Control import-related costs, freight charges, taxes, and duties; * Ensure compliance with foreign trade regulations, including customs and environmental legislation; * Prepare reports and performance indicators for import operations; * Support the team in continuous process improvement and adaptation to regulatory changes. #### **Mandatory requirements:** * Completed undergraduate degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Economics, International Relations, or related fields. * English and/or Spanish #### **Desirable qualifications (preferred):** * Organizational skills and attention to detail; * Strong communication and negotiation abilities; * Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; * Proactivity and teamwork; * Time management and prioritization skills; * Adaptability to change and continuous learning. #### **Benefits:** * Family Health Assistance Network * Telemedicine and Telepsychology * Dental Plan * Benefits Club * Pharmacy Discounts * Benefit Card * Incentive Programs * Life Insurance * Funeral Assistance * Pregnancy Monitoring * On-site Meals * Career Development Plan * Partner Website Discounts #### **Work schedule and working hours:** Business hours 08:48 AM
