Standardization of pipelines as a product and advanced DataOps practices **Job Description:** ---------------------- At KORO, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to work in a high-complexity and high-impact environment, focused on Marketing Analytics. This role is responsible for planning, building, and operating our cloud-based data platform, ensuring scalability, quality, and reliability across end-to-end processes. You will play a strategic role in sustaining and evolving our data stack by standardizing pipelines as products (versioned, tested, observable, and auditable), and by defining and managing reliability, quality, and cost metrics. You will also support BI, Data Science, and Martech teams—always in production environments, not ad\-hoc analyses. Your key responsibilities include: Planning, building, and operating the cloud-based data platform using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Standardizing data pipelines as products: versioned, tested, observable, and auditable. Establishing and managing SLOs/SLIs and ensuring governance across orchestration, quality, and cost. Supporting BI, Data Science, and Martech teams in production environments. Implementing advanced DataOps practices and serving as a technical reference within the team. **Desired Qualifications:** -------------------------- Technical prerequisites: Cloud architecture and operations: experience with networking, IAM, secrets management, VPC, security, and disaster recovery (DR) on GCP, AWS, or Azure. IaC: proficiency in Terraform and Helm for provisioning and maintaining data warehouses, lakehouses, queues, orchestration, and monitoring. Orchestration: standardization on Airflow/Cloud Composer, creation of idempotent DAGs, retries, SLAs, and backfills. Observability: data and job metrics, logs, and traces; configuration of dashboards, alerts, and runbooks. Data Quality: schema/rule testing using Great Expectations (or similar) integrated into CI/CD. Reliability: definition of SLO/SLI, error budget management, incident handling, and change management. FinOps: tracking and optimization of costs per TB, query, or workload. CI/CD: data and infrastructure pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Data integration: standardization of connectors (APIs, Fivetran/Airbyte, CDC) with contracts and catalogs. Security and compliance: practices aligned with LGPD, least privilege, lineage, and auditing.
