Job Summary: A professional to administer, configure, and monitor Fortinet firewalls, optimize security rules, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and collaborate on network security projects. Collaboration with network, infrastructure, and security teams - Administer, configure, and monitor Fortinet firewalls (primarily FortiGate). - Create, review, and optimize firewall rules, security policies, objects, NAT, and network segmentation. - Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IPsec and SSL VPNs, including site-to-site tunnels and secure remote access. - Perform troubleshooting for connectivity and security incidents involving firewalls, routing, VLANs, and application access. - Monitor events, analyze security logs and reports, and propose continuous improvements to edge security policies. - Support deployment, migration, and upgrade projects for network security solutions. - Document firewall-related configurations, changes, operational procedures, and security architecture. - Collaborate with network, infrastructure, and information security teams on joint initiatives.
