The role requires a mature, confident, and technically leadership-capable professional, responsible for establishing KPIs, supporting the team, and elevating delivery standards. Beyond technical expertise, we seek someone with professionalism, autonomy, and decision-making capability. Main Responsibilities * End-to-end involvement in import and export operations—from initial negotiation through customs clearance to final delivery. * Coordination with customs brokers to ensure legal compliance, adherence to deadlines, and fulfillment of governmental requirements. * Analysis, verification, and organization of international trade documents (e.g., Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, etc.). * Quotation, negotiation, and contracting of international and domestic freight services. * Monitoring and control of timelines, lead times, and operational costs. * Interaction with international suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and internal departments (logistics, procurement, finance, and tax). * Development, monitoring, and analysis of performance indicators (KPIs), proposing continuous process improvements. * Close collaboration with the team, exercising technical leadership and supporting analysts’ development. * Data entry, controls, and updates in the ERP system (SAP B1). * Support for internal and external audits related to international trade. Requirements * Proven experience in International Trade, with significant involvement in import and/or export activities. * Intermediate to advanced knowledge of customs procedures and applicable legislation. * Experience with international trade documentation and coordination with customs brokers. * Experience negotiating freight rates, timelines, and commercial terms. * ERP experience, preferably SAP B1. * Advanced Excel proficiency. * Advanced English (mandatory for communication with global teams and international management). * Intermediate Spanish (for interaction with operations in Chile). Preferred Qualifications * Experience with special customs regimes. * Knowledge of BI tools and data analysis. * Experience in companies handling high volumes of international operations. * Familiarity with fiscal classification (NCM) and Incoterms. * Experience designing and monitoring international trade KPIs.
