Within the team, we value curious, analytical professionals who enjoy solving complex problems using data and who work closely with business areas. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Ensure monitoring of Data Quality; * Implement processes to monitor data accuracy, consistency, and integrity; * Data Security: Protect data against unauthorized access through security measures such as encryption and access control; * Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with data professionals and business areas to understand their needs; * Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor data platform performance and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and scalability; * Documentation: Document data engineering processes and procedures to ensure practices are replicable and understandable by other team members; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Preferred Fields of Study: Systems Analysis, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines. * Educational Level: Bachelor's degree — completed or in progress * Proficiency in Programming Languages: Python, Java, Scala, and SQL are essential; * Database Knowledge: In-depth understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB) is crucial. Familiarity with cloud storage tools such as Amazon S3 or other cloud platforms is also important. * Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): The ETL process is fundamental for extracting data from various sources, transforming it according to business needs, and loading it into destination systems. * Proficiency in Distributed Storage and Processing: With increasing data volumes, knowledge of Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka is essential for distributed data storage and processing. * Strong, fluent, and assertive communication skills with other data professionals and business areas. **Additional Information** At the **Sicredi Administrative Center (CAS)**, for positions in business areas, we adopt a hybrid work model consolidated as 3 days on-site at the company headquarters located at Av. Assis Brasil, 3940, São Sebastião, Porto Alegre/RS, and 2 days remote.
