




Job Summary: An ISBM Machine Setup Technician configures, adjusts, and monitors injection molding machines to ensure the production of plastic articles meets quality standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Configure injection molding machine parameters according to technical specifications 2. Adjust and correct defects in pilot parts 3. Monitor machine performance and identify anomalies The ISBM Machine Setup Technician is responsible for: * Configuring injection molding machine parameters according to product technical specifications; * Preparing molds, performing mold changes, assembly, and disassembly; * Adjusting temperature, pressure, injection time, cooling time, and speed; * Verifying operation of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components; * Checking and feeding hoppers with plastic resins (PE, PP, PET, etc.); * Preparing mixtures and additives per specifications (masterbatch, fillers); * Ensuring material is dry, clean, and meets required standards; * Producing initial articles (pilot parts) and validating dimensions and finish; * Adjusting parameters to correct defects (flash, bubbles, warpage, short shots); * Monitoring and recording injection molding machine results; * Monitoring machine performance during shift; identifying anomalies and performing necessary adjustments; * Ensuring production cycles proceed at the established pace, etc. Requirements * Completed high school education; * Plastic Technology Technician qualification; * Knowledge of ISBM; * Availability to work administrative hours (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM); * Availability for on-site work in Itupeva-SP.
