Quality Assistant – Industrial Foundry Salto – SP | On-site | CLT An industrial foundry company specializing in cast iron is hiring a Quality Assistant to work in the laboratory and metallurgical control. **Main responsibilities** ------------------------- * Sampling of molten metal and molding sand; * Preparation of samples for chemical and metallographic analyses; * Conducting laboratory tests on cast parts; * Measuring material hardness; * Microstructural analysis of metals using a microscope; * Recording test results and quality control data; * Supporting chemical metal control via spectrometry; * Assisting the production team in identifying process deviations; * Organizing the laboratory and assisting with equipment calibration. **Requirements** -------------- * Completed or currently pursuing a technical course in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or Chemistry; * Interest in the industrial sector and quality control; * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactivity; * Ability to work effectively in a team. **Advantages** ---------------- * Experience in an industrial laboratory; * Experience in foundry operations; * Knowledge of metallography; * Experience with ductile cast iron. **Salary and benefits** ------------------------ * Salary between R$ 2.500,00 and R$ 3.500,00; * Basic food basket; * Breakfast; * Chartered transportation; * Hazardous duty allowance; * Life insurance; * Technical training. **Working hours** ----------- Monday to Friday – business hours.
