Many challenges, learning opportunities, and growth await you at DWS Brazil! \#**joinDWSian** We are seeking a Shopify Technical Lead to support the evolution of an e-commerce platform in partnership with a U.S.-based client. This person will serve as the technical reference for the solution, participating both in development and architectural decisions for the platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and technical quality. You will join a multidisciplinary team, working closely with global stakeholders and actively contributing to the continuous evolution of the platform and user experience. **Responsibilities and duties** **Your responsibilities will include:** ------------------------------ * + Acting as the project’s technical reference and supporting the team in development decisions; * Evaluating the client’s existing codebase and implementing improvements focused on security, performance, and scalability; * Participating in defining the solution’s architecture and platform integrations; * Developing and supporting complex features within the Shopify ecosystem; * Working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and propose appropriate technical solutions; * Supporting integrations with external systems, payment gateways, ERPs, and third-party services; * Defining and promoting best practices for development, version control, and code quality; * Conducting code reviews and providing technical support to other developers on the team; * Maintaining code, fixing bugs, and ensuring application stability; * Participating in project ceremonies and collaborating within a global, multidisciplinary environment; * Contributing to the continuous evolution of the platform and the project’s technical decisions. **Requirements and qualifications** **For this position, it is important that you have:** * Solid experience developing e-commerce platforms; * Practical experience with Shopify and its ecosystem; * Strong knowledge of PHP; * Knowledge of React; * Experience with integrations and REST/GraphQL APIs; * Knowledge of Git; * Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Tailwind; * Experience with development best practices, performance, and security; * Advanced English; * Knowledge of Jira. **Nice to have:** * Experience with Shopify Plus; * Experience with BigCommerce; * Experience with payment platforms (Adyen, Stripe or similar); * Experience calculating taxes and U.S. tax rules using Avalara, Vertex or similar; * Experience technically leading teams or projects; * Knowledge of scalable application architecture and integrations. **Additional information** **Here’s what you’ll find (Our benefits):** ------------------------------------------------ * All necessary equipment for your work (laptop and peripherals); * Health and dental insurance; * Life insurance; * Mental health program; * Anywhere office \- flexibility to work from wherever you need; * Meal/voucher allowance (Flash benefits card); * Home office allowance (Flash benefits card); * Mobility allowance (Flash benefits card); * Mentoring program for professional development and career tracking; * Participation in development tracks (investment in courses, etc.) and access to our free platform offering numerous self-learning courses; * English lessons with a private tutor; * Awesomeness \- delivery of themed and exclusive gifts; * Gympass; * Flexible working hours (40 hours per week); * Birthday day off; * Appreciation \- Recognition program enabling monthly donation and receipt of 'dentsu dollars'; * 100% remote or hybrid work (your choice).
