Junior Data Engineer

**Challenge** Our data engineers get their hands dirty with technical implementations and code, and use innovative tools, while making a difference in the business results of our clients. They have access to leading technologies, training in our way of working with data, digital platforms, and work side\-by\-side with consultants and data scientists, developing technical deliverables for large enterprises. Our Data Engineers stay alert to data trends or inconsistencies in technical implementations that affect business goals. It is a highly technical position, which requires experience and skills in areas such as programming and computer science. **Responsibilities** * Ensure consistency in data collection, ingestion, transformation, and integration processes; * Diagnose, review, and test technical issues that may be identified in tools and processes; * Develop solutions for complex challenges in measurement, implementation, and use of data with client technology teams; * Assist in the continuous audit of the site and digital platforms. Handle client support requests related to implementations, analysis, integrations, development, and related matters; * Identify and define new tools and opportunities for process improvement. * Stay updated on market technology trends and their respective communities; * Work and collaborate in time with structured processes; * Ability to create and maintain procedures for data analysis and extraction; * Great attention to detail and organization of daily tasks; * Work in close collaboration with consultants and data scientists, understanding the requirements and helping them to get the most out of their projects. **Prerequisites** * Experience with programming in Python, SQL, Object\-oriented programming; * Building and optimizing ETL and ELT; * Knowledge of data pipeline automation systems (Airflow, Glue, etc.); * In\-depth knowledge of API usage and creation; **Differentiators** * Knowledge of distributed data processing systems (e.g., Spark, Dask, Kafka, Hadoop, etc.); * Technical experience with digital platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Looker Studio, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Oracle Marketing Cloud, CMS, CDP, and other related platforms; * Knowledge of cloud\-based environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP; * Experience in software development using version control software; * Technical knowledge in the automation of data ingestion, transformation, and testing processes; * Experience in global or remote delivery, with corporate clients; * Some skill in dealing with executive leadership; * Have worked in consulting, agencies, startups, or companies with an agile mindset; * High degree of initiative and problem\-solving skills; * Proficiency in English and/or Spanish; * Technical deliverables oriented toward the implementation of digital marketing platforms (e.g., web analytics, A/B testing, DMP, CDP) and their configurations; * Knowledge of HTML and Javascript. **What we expect from you** * A hands\-on attitude to contribute to the construction of solutions for our clients; * Active participation in a multidisciplinary team (squad/tribe); * Sharing of knowledge with colleagues; * Feeling comfortable in a multitasking, demanding, and agile environment, with clients from multiple industries. * Understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem, digital advertising, analytics, and/or business intelligence;
