More than accelerating business growth with cutting-edge technology, we **maximize operational efficiency.** To help us achieve this mission, we are looking for a **Senior DBA – PostgreSQL**: a professional with solid experience in administering critical databases, capable of ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of environments, while serving as a technical reference and mentoring teams. **Your Mission** * Administer, install, configure, and update PostgreSQL environments (on\-premises and cloud-based). * Ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) using tools such as Patroni, repmgr, pgpool\-II, or similar. * Implement and maintain backup and restore policies (pgBackRest, Barman, WAL Archiving). * Perform monitoring, query tuning, and optimization of indexes and configuration parameters. * Ensure security and compliance: access control, auditing, encryption, and adherence to regulatory standards. * Automate maintenance routines, provisioning, and deployment using scripts and DevOps pipelines. * Support development teams in data modeling and execution plan analysis. * Manage replication (streaming/logical), partitioning, sharding, and scalability of critical environments. * Propose and implement architectural improvements in the data ecosystem aligned with business strategy. * Act as a technical mentor, promoting skill development, dissemination of best practices, and supporting the growth of junior DBAs and developers. * Produce detailed documentation on architecture, policies, procedures, and performance and capacity reports. **Who We’re Looking For** **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields. **Experience:** * Solid experience (7\+ years) in advanced database administration with emphasis on PostgreSQL. **Differentiators:** * Additional knowledge of **NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)**. Experience with **PostGIS** and geospatial databases. Prior experience in **regulated environments** (LGPD, PCI DSS, ISO 27001\).
