HVAC Designer

#### **Responsibilities** * Develop complete HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system designs for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings, from conceptualization through execution-phase deliverables. * Perform thermal load calculations, equipment sizing (chillers, fan coils, VRF, etc.), air ducts, and hydraulic piping in accordance with technical standards (ASHRAE, ABNT). * Prepare technical specifications for equipment, materials, and systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements and applicable regulations. * Produce detailed technical drawings using CAD platforms (AutoCAD, Revit MEP), including floor plans, sections, construction details, and system diagrams. * Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (architecture, structural, electrical, plumbing) to ensure HVAC system compatibility and integration. * Conduct site visits for data collection, construction progress monitoring, and verification of compliance with design documentation. * Prepare budgets and cost estimates for designed HVAC systems, considering materials, equipment, and labor. #### **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. * Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in HVAC system design projects, including sizing and detailing. * Advanced proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP) for design development and 3D modeling. * Solid knowledge of Brazilian (ABNT) and international (ASHRAE) technical standards for HVAC design. * Experience using thermal load calculation software (e.g., Carrier HAP, Trane Trace). * Familiarity with various HVAC system types (VRF, Chiller, Split, Self-Contained, exhaust and ventilation systems). * Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability principles applied to climate control systems. #### **Skills** * AutoCAD * Revit MEP * Thermal Load Calculation * HVAC Sizing * ASHRAE/ABNT Standards * Carrier HAP/Trane Trace * 3D Modeling (BIM) * Technical Specification * Project Budgeting ### **Employment Type:** PJ (Individual Entrepreneur / Legal Entity) ### **Benefits:** Birthday Day Off, gogood gym membership, English classes, Paid leave ### **Department:** Operations
