Ensuring safety, quality, and good condition of facilities A Building Maintenance Assistant performs preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and masonry systems, as well as painting, conservation, and general repairs in buildings, always under the supervision of a responsible professional, ensuring safety, quality, and good condition of facilities. Activities include repairing leaks, replacing light bulbs, performing minor renovations, and maintaining organization in common areas and material storage. * **Electrical and Hydraulic Maintenance:** Assist in repairing electrical and hydraulic installations, such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaks, and maintaining equipment. * **Masonry and Painting:** Assist in masonry, painting, and surface repair work, ensuring walls and other structures remain in good condition. * **Mechanical Maintenance:** Support maintenance of air conditioning systems, generators, and other mechanical building equipment. * **Conservation and Cleaning:** Ensure cleanliness, conservation, and organization of building common areas. * **Inspections and Repairs:** Conduct periodic inspections to identify and resolve issues, ranging from minor repairs to escalation of more complex problems. * **Organization:** Assist in managing material inventory and maintaining organization of tools and equipment. * **Coordination:** Supervise service providers and support other maintenance professionals.
