




Description: * Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; * Specialization in the field is desirable; * Experience in the hospital setting; * Active CREFONO registration. Provide bedside speech-language pathology services across all hospital units, with a focus on dysphagia, language, voice, and orofacial motor skills; Assist in developing the Technical Administrative Manual to standardize service operations, routines, and clinical interventions; Support implementation of feeding assessment kits jointly with the Nutrition Department, aiming to streamline service routines and improve patient outcomes—reducing the interval between assessments and oral intake initiation, accelerating weaning from alternative feeding routes, thereby supporting reduced enteral nutrition costs and earlier patient discharge; Participate in shift handovers for the service, where patient cases are discussed to ensure multidisciplinary resolution and management, guaranteeing consistency in clinical approaches; Complete daily patient mapping spreadsheets to monitor service delivery and track the number of patients per unit; these sheets also record all relevant clinical information, as well as established interventions and observations for each case; Document speech-language pathology progress notes in the system to optimize service workflow and communication among the multidisciplinary team; Collaborate with the Nutrition and Nursing teams of Nutritional Therapy in developing the Enteral Nutrition Handbook, to deliver health education across units through staff training on safe and effective weaning from alternative feeding routes and oral intake initiation; Provide support to the Nutrition and Nursing teams of Nutritional Therapy during EMTN trainings, to deliver health education across units through staff training on safe and effective weaning from alternative feeding routes and oral intake initiation. 251228020249647983
