As the Sub-Supervisor of Butchery at Grupo Verona, your mission is to serve as the right-hand support in departmental management—ensuring that our product quality and exceptional service reach customers efficiently and with a human touch.
You will be a key player in maintaining freshness and food safety standards, leading the technical team so that every cut and display reflects the care we have for our community.

**Responsibilities and Duties** **What will you do daily?** Your role will focus on ensuring operational fluidity and technical quality within the Butchery department:
**Operational Leadership**: Assist in supervising the team—organizing schedules, guiding staff on proper handling practices, and fostering a collaborative and engaged work environment.
**Quality and Process Control**: Monitor incoming goods, ensure cutting standards, enforce strict pricing compliance, and maintain full control over expiration dates (PVPS) and temperature.
**Inventory and Loss Management**: Directly manage loss and deboning control to enhance productivity efficiency and reduce waste—ensuring departmental profitability.
**Customer Experience**: Guarantee the "Verona Standard" of hospitality—ensuring both counter service and self-service areas remain immaculate and visually appealing.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **Education and Experience**
* Completed high school (technical or higher education in Management, Gastronomy, or related fields is preferred).
* Solid experience in the butchery sector, with strong technical expertise in cutting and deboning processes.
* Prior experience in leadership or supervisory roles is a plus.
**Skills and Tools**
* **Technical Knowledge:** Proficiency in Food Safety and Sanitary Surveillance regulations.
* **KPI Management:** Basic understanding of loss control, margin analysis, and perishable inventory management.
* **Leadership Profile:** Ability to train processes, mediate conflicts, and motivate the team.
