The first contract for Sonic Logging and Dynamometer services—measuring production levels, diagnosing sucker rods and well pumps—was launched under the designation “Other Services” to distinguish it from the company’s core business. “Other Services” enabled Perbras to serve Petrobras and other clients across diverse sectors, challenging its technical staff and management to continually acquire new skills and knowledge to deliver services with the same quality already proven in the OPR market.
