**Description:** Complete High School education; Professional/technical mechanical courses are desirable. Perform preventive, corrective maintenance and minor assemblies on separators, mill bearings, furnaces, conveyor chains, elevators, reducers, belt conveyors, pipelines and others, disassembling/reassembling mechanical sets/subsets, evaluating damaged or worn parts and replacing them, performing necessary adjustments and alignments using appropriate tools such as: electric welding, oxyacetylene equipment, chain hoists, pulleys, jacks, various wrenches, calipers, micrometers, dial indicators or combilaser alignment devices, among others. Carry out specialized maintenance tasks such as alignment of small to medium-sized machines using a combilaser aligner and/or dial indicator, as well as replacement of conveyor belts, performing cold splices, in addition to general repairs. Conduct operational tests on equipment, verifying that the quality of work performed meets proper operating standards, checking correct component fastening, lubrication, abnormal noises, alignments, working pressures and other items related to the nature of the work. Report any irregularities or doubts regarding equipment performance for operation to the immediate supervisor. Provide final release to the operations team according to established standards. Repair general parts and equipment, following drawings or instruction catalogs, maintenance operational procedure standards, to ensure accuracy of services performed. **Manufacture parts or components such as:** chutes, general pipelines, buckets, structures and other sheet metal works, using tools, manual instruments and machinery to produce parts according to specifications. Operate electric welding and oxyacetylene equipment intended for welding and cutting mechanical components. Fill out daily maintenance reports, recording completed services, materials and parts used, to enable tracking of maintenance hours required, and subsequently forward them to the immediate supervisor for analysis. Participate in supervising teams of assistant mechanics, instructing them on safety regulations, procedures, discipline, conduct, workplace organization and cleanliness, promoting team synergy aimed at professional development. Operate forklifts to carry out material handling tasks, as well as drive trucks and light vehicles when qualified (licensed), whenever accredited and designated by the immediate supervisor. Keep the workplace clean and organized, ensuring equipment and tools are in perfect working condition, cleaning them, arranging their maintenance, and storing them properly for preservation. Value personal and third-party safety, observing existing signage, using personal protective equipment, and fully complying with internal rules and procedures as previously trained. Perform other activities related to your area of responsibility whenever requested by your immediate supervisor, aiming at development, professional and career growth, under supervision and guidance during execution of these activities. Coordinate maintenance activities in production lines for flour mills, cement, clinker kilns, crushers, bagging machines, palletizers and other equipment comprising the industrial plant, identifying needs regarding safety for self, others and equipment, aiming to meet required time, quality and cost standards. Monitor and conduct Critical Maintenance Analyses within predefined timeframes, seeking to identify causes of stoppages or defects in factory equipment through evaluation of historical equipment performance, reviewing content of Preventive Plans for updates, proposing solutions aimed at achieving zero stoppages and zero defects. Participate in preparing the annual maintenance budget, using historical data and monitoring results from previous periods, projecting equipment service life to support budget planning, as well as systematically monitoring its implementation. Coordinate, develop and provide training and development programs for the entire maintenance team to ensure continuity of technical knowledge and management expertise in the area. Monitor and manage equipment and tools assigned to the section (such as: cranes, vehicles, forklifts, individual and collective tools, among others), identifying maintenance and replacement needs to ensure continuous operation, as well as proposing equipment improvements aiming to maintain maintenance history and technological mastery. Participate in defining department policies, continuously adapting them to company needs and promoting their dissemination and implementation within the Division. Interact with other areas of the unit, providing data and exchanging technical information to facilitate respective activity planning. Coordinate and evaluate factory failures, identifying potential chronic problems and developing action plans for correction. Support the implementation of Routine Management in Maintenance. Participate in internal and external audits related to maintenance, quality, environment and safety systems, providing necessary information to audit teams and correcting any non-conformities. Critically analyze incidents together with coordination, CIPA and Occupational Safety teams, proposing and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence. Coordinate maintenance services provided by contracted companies, ensuring activities are performed within defined quality requirements and standards. Safeguard personal, third-party and equipment safety conditions, while promoting conservation, organization and cleanliness of work areas. Contribute to compliance with environmental and occupational safety regulations and policies, as well as maintaining the 5S program in the industrial area.
