Maintenance Technician II (1)
Description:
Completed Technical Course.
Monitor and perform maintenance activities on production lines for flour mills, cement mills, clinker kilns, crushers, bagging machines, palletizers and other equipment comprising the industrial plant, ensuring work is carried out according to required quality standards and supply of materials and services used, preparing and monitoring work schedules, performing technical assessments and studies, guaranteeing execution and maintenance of operational procedures within their area of responsibility.
* Monitor mechanical maintenance activities on production lines for flour mills, cement mills, clinker kilns, crushers, bagging machines, palletizers and other equipment comprising the industrial plant, identifying needs regarding safety for self, others and equipment, controlling material applications, use of tools and equipment (such as cranes, vehicles, forklifts, among others), aiming at high-quality, safe and timely interventions.
* Perform and monitor maintenance activities through service orders (SO) and schedules, identifying needs regarding safety aspects (risks, precautions and lockouts), activity descriptions, materials, tools, labor, support materials (such as cranes, vehicles, forklifts, among others), aiming at high-quality, cost-effective, safe and timely interventions.
* Support the execution of Critical Maintenance Analysis within predefined timeframes, seeking to identify causes of downtime or defects in factory equipment by evaluating historical equipment performance, reviewing content of Preventive Plans for updates, proposing solutions aimed at achieving zero downtime and zero defects.
Ensure acquisition of materials, tools and services with timely availability for maintenance activities, observing aspects related to factory standardization, quality and assurance processes.
* Participate in team leadership activities for mechanical teams, instructing them on safety regulations, procedures, discipline, conduct, workplace organization and cleanliness, promoting team synergy and professional development.
* Assist in the development and revision of maintenance procedures, preparation of safety plans, standard methods and times for maintenance activities, identifying opportunities for improvement in safety, productivity and environment, as well as conducting team training on these standards and safety and quality discussions, aiming to ensure required productivity and quality levels for maintenance excellence.
* Support the area supervisor in managing third-party service administration, monitoring safety and quality performance during execution, performing controls during work execution (hours/weight) according to contract terms. Carry out activity closure, observing final measurement evaluation criteria (hours/weight) and required quality, alerting the supervisor of any irregularities.
* Promote rationalization of activities focused on the use of the Maintenance System, developing routine tasks and section controls, monitoring section indicators (KPIs), reporting to the area Supervisor on achievement of predefined targets.
* Monitor equipment under the section's responsibility (such as cranes, vehicles, forklifts, among others), identifying maintenance and replacement needs to ensure continuous operation, as well as proposing equipment improvements, conducting inspections and issuing various technical reports, aiming to maintain maintenance history and technological mastery.
* Ensure personal safety, third-party safety and equipment safety, while promoting conservation, organization and cleanliness of work areas.
