Job-related activities must follow the guidelines provided by the area manager. **Main Responsibilities:** * Lead production teams, assigning tasks and monitoring performance. * Coordinate machine setups and monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency indicators. * Manage production schedules and adjust priorities as needed. * Conduct daily team meetings on goals, safety, and improvements. * Implement quality procedures and coordinate basic maintenance. * Train and develop operators, proposing training plans. * Analyze and suggest process improvements, controlling material inventories and consumption. * Prepare production reports and handle interpersonal conflict resolution. * Create and keep updated all standard operating procedures (SOPs) in their area together with their immediate manager and the quality department. * Improve discrepancy management by identifying root causes (What?) and defining action plans for improvements (How?), ensuring the issue does not recur, focusing on continuous process improvement. * Identify process discrepancies, suggesting improvements for resolving causes together with their direct manager. * Perform other unmentioned but relevant activities, following instructions from area managers. * Comply with Institutional Rules and Procedures. **Requirements:** * Education: Completed High School. * Field of Study: Preferred Technical Degree in Industrial Production, Mechanics, or related fields (preferred) * Postgraduate: Not applicable * Work Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years leading industrial production teams, preferably in carton packaging or corrugated paper * Computer Skills: Intermediate Office Suite, knowledge of production management systems * Languages: Not applicable. **Required Competencies:** * Leadership and effective communication. * Conflict management and decision-making. * Analytical thinking and systemic vision. * Results orientation and continuous improvement. * Organization, responsibility, and initiative. * Adaptability, ability to work under pressure, and ethical thinking. * Sustainability and Respect for Life and the Environment (ability to integrate sustainability principles and demonstrate concern for the environmental and social impact of activities). * Ethical Thinking (making decisions considering company values and the impact on the community and environment).
