Job Summary: The professional fabricates, repairs, and restores textile, leather, and synthetic articles; plans activities; creates patterns; cuts materials; and performs finishing and final assembly of upholstery. Fabrication and Installation of Textile and Leather Articles They fabricate textile, leather, and synthetic articles for various purposes. They plan fabrication and installation activities for these articles, create and produce patterns, cut and prepare materials, perform finishing and final assembly. They conduct productive maintenance of machines and equipment. They market hand-woven textile products. They upholster and reupholster furniture such as sofas, chairs, and armchairs. They work with fabrics, leather, and other materials, performing tasks including cutting, sewing, installation, and upholstery restoration. **Main Responsibilities of an Upholsterer:** * **Repair and Restoration:** Replacement of fabrics, foams, webbing, and springs in sofas, armchairs, and chairs that are antique or damaged. * **Frame Treatment:** Minor repairs to wooden or metal furniture frames prior to upholstery application. **Common Tools and Materials:** Work involves the use of pneumatic staplers, air compressors, sewing machines, glue guns, utility knives, scissors, hammers, and spatulas Employment Type: Permanent CLT Benefits: * Food basket * Commuter allowance Working Hours: * Monday to Friday Additional Compensation: * 13th salary * Vacation bonus * Overtime pay Employment Type: Permanent CLT Compensation: R$2.800,00 - R$3.500,00 per month Benefits: * Meal voucher * Commuter allowance Work Location: On-site
