Focus on teamwork, innovation, and excellence Supermercados Maringá is seeking a **Forklift Operator** to work at its Central Warehouse. The professional will be responsible for moving, organizing, and storing goods, ensuring safety, efficiency, and careful handling of products. When not operating the forklift, they will support the team in manual activities within the department. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Operate forklifts (gas or electric) to move pallets and various loads. * Load and unload trucks. * Organize goods in storage and shipping areas. * **When no forklift operation is required, assist in manual organization of goods and other operational warehouse activities.** * Assist in product and volume verification when necessary. * Maintain forklift condition and report any maintenance needs. * Comply with occupational safety regulations and internal procedures. * Support the logistics team in general warehouse activities. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed elementary education. * Valid Forklift Operator certification. * Driver's license category B (or higher). * Prior experience as a forklift operator in warehouses, distribution centers, or supermarkets (preferred). * Experience with reach trucks or electric forklifts (desirable). * Familiarity with logistics and warehousing routines (desirable). * Basic knowledge of inventory organization (desirable). **Additional Information** **Additional Information:** * Work location: Central Warehouse (Queimados) – Supermercados Maringá. * Schedule/hours: Monday through Saturday. * Employment type: CLT (Consolidated Labor Laws contract). **Benefits:** * Life insurance; * Transportation allowance (only when necessary); * On-site cafeteria; * Uniforms provided by the company; * Internal training programs and opportunities for career advancement within the network; * Safe, organized environment with structured processes.
