EXPLORE OUR SERVICES * Hydrography and Oceanography * Nautical Signaling * Maritime Operations and Diving Activities * Topography and Geodesy * Geotechnical and Geological Surveys and Studies * Dredging Projects, Management, and Supervision * Rock Blasting * Environmental Management JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Operate and monitor main and auxiliary engines, pumps, compressors, hydraulic and electrical systems aboard the vessel. * Monitor equipment and system performance indicators to ensure proper operation. * Conduct required tests and adjustments on mechanical equipment. * Perform periodic inspections of the vessel’s mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. * Replace parts and lubricants following recommended maintenance procedures. * Assist in identifying failures and propose solutions for repairs. * Adhere to safety and emergency protocols related to onboard equipment and systems. * Respond to emergency situations, such as fires, oil spills, or mechanical failures. * Maintain tools and work equipment organized and in good working condition. * Record all operations and maintenance activities in the vessel’s logbooks and onboard systems. * Communicate with the Captain and other crew members regarding equipment performance. * Assist in monitoring fuel and lubricant consumption. * Comply with regulations issued by the Brazilian Maritime Authority (NORMAM), the Brazilian Navy, and other applicable regulations. * Ensure adherence to environmental procedures and proper waste disposal.
