Guarantee of product hygiene, quality, and validity Serve customers courteously and promptly according to demand, offering new consumption options. Assist in the production, packaging, and organization of products at counters, displays, and other sales areas to ensure optimal service and customer satisfaction, thereby achieving established departmental targets. * Restock sales and display counters, verifying their arrangement, product placement, hygiene, and expiration dates, ensuring compliance with internal standards and good work practices to avoid stockouts that could hinder optimal customer service. * Monitor receipt and inspection of products delivered by suppliers, as well as their storage in cold rooms, paying attention to product quality, expiration dates, and order accuracy. Reject deliveries in case of non-conformance and return products to the supplier. * Check inventory levels in sales areas and cold rooms, and communicate product needs to the supervisor—or, if unavailable, to the purchasing department—to prevent stockouts. * Process products for sale or for use in the bakery and snack bar according to specific requirements: slicing cold cuts, cutting sausages and salted meats, etc., then packaging, weighing, and labeling each item appropriately—continuously improving processes, reducing waste, and maintaining required quality and hygiene standards. * When identifying products unfit for consumption, segregate, weigh, generate labels, record them in the appropriate log, and transport them to the designated area for removal by the responsible company. * For third-party packaged products, verify expiration dates, weigh, label, and place them on appropriate counters for display and sale to customers. * Stock counters with various product types, always observing each product’s specific storage requirements, placing them in suitable locations for display and sale to customers. * Serve customers at the counter and other sales areas within the department—providing information, responding to requests, fulfilling orders, suggesting alternative purchases, delivering weighed, packaged, and priced goods—with courtesy and promptness, focusing on service excellence and customer retention. * At the end of the shift, store products according to preservation instructions to maintain integrity, transferring them to appropriate storage areas properly conditioned. * Ensure personal and colleagues’ safety by correctly using PPE and maintaining equipment in good condition and cleanliness; report maintenance needs to supervisors when required. * Clean and sanitize work areas, countertops, counters, freezers, cold and freezing chambers, and all other locations where products are handled and displayed, using prescribed cleaning agents at scheduled intervals. * Retrieve products from cold chambers for processing, packaging for sale, and restocking customer service areas. * Identify soon-to-expire products, remove them from sales areas, and assign appropriate disposition. * Periodically inspect counters, verifying correct pricing aligned with daily prices, adequate stocking and arrangement, package integrity, and all other factors contributing to high-quality service and optimal product preservation and hygiene—ensuring excellent customer service. * Attend departmental meetings whenever summoned, contributing ideas to improve work performance and achieve set goals. * Monitor packaging material inventory levels and request replenishment from the responsible department as needed. * Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
