Summary Description: Ensure the smooth operation and timely delivery of engineering construction works under your responsibility, monitoring schedules, costs, and quality; support third-party contract management in alignment with established planning; and achieve client-negotiated objectives and targets within the company’s strategic premises and defined procedures. Detailed Description: * Solid experience in construction safety, quality assurance, and contractor management. * Ensure the development of viable projects, adhering to technical, environmental, legal, and compliance criteria, while meeting organizational objectives within scheduled timelines, budget constraints, and agreed strategic premises with the client. * Ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices in project management and implementation—both by internal professionals and through the technical suitability of suppliers or service providers engaged under active contracts. * Monitor engineering project progress across technical aspects, schedule adherence, and delivery quality, as well as contracted deliverables from external companies, through rigorous oversight and application of project governance rules, ensuring alignment with approved contracts. * Establish interface with the implementation lead and ensure proper handover (final delivery) by aligning assumptions and obtaining sign-offs (formal release documentation). * Define performance indicators for projects under your responsibility, monitor results, propose and implement corrective actions when necessary, aiming to meet defined targets. * Ensure corrections of as-built documentation identified by the implementation team, to guarantee fidelity between design and actual execution. * Provide operational guidance to the team and assign tasks to be performed in the area, facilitating and integrating team efforts toward improved outcomes. * Be accountable for applying personnel competencies and work hours to operations under your responsibility, assessing workload demands, individual requirements, and compliance with legal obligations—including administration of labor relations such as vacations, timekeeping, job role changes, or workplace relocation—in coordination with your immediate manager. * Ensure all employees and/or third parties under your responsibility understand and comply with company policies and procedures, and maintain up-to-date training relevant to their operational duties per established procedures. * Evaluate employee and candidate performance, proposing allocation, development, and management actions to maximize competency utilization, retain high-potential talent, and build appropriately composed teams—supporting sustainability, equitable treatment, employee satisfaction, and organizational results. * Request disciplinary actions or penalties from HR or Risk Management in cases of non-compliance with company policies and procedures. * Develop the competencies of subordinates, ensuring their participation in promoted events and the effectiveness of succession plans for managerial and critical positions. * Perform operational activities within the area when required, addressing technical demands and training professionals for specific functions. * Direct necessary activities to mature projects, contributing to the next year’s project portfolio. * Act in accordance with guidance from the contract manager / support team to ensure process standardization. 2512160202201868033
