Description: Basic requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Construction Management or related fields. * At least 10 years of experience in construction management within large-scale sectors (e.g., infrastructure, manufacturing, energy), including site-based roles. * Proven experience reviewing and supporting construction activities in large-scale projects (exceeding USD 200 million), including risk assessment and mitigation. * Strong experience in construction safety, quality assurance, and contractor management. * Fluency in English. Preferred qualifications: * Experience with AWP (Advanced Work Packaging) and LPS (Last Planner System) methodologies. * Prior experience in consulting, training, or project evaluation is a plus. Summary Description: Ensure the operation and delivery of engineering construction projects under your responsibility by monitoring schedules, costs, and quality; supporting third-party contract management in alignment with established planning; and achieving negotiated client objectives and targets within the company’s strategic premises and procedures. Detailed Description: * Strong experience in construction safety, quality assurance, and contractor management. * Ensure development of viable projects, adhering to technical, environmental, legal, and compliance criteria, while meeting organizational objectives within scheduled timelines, budget constraints, and contractual strategic premises. * Ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices in project management and implementation—both by internal professionals and through technical suitability of suppliers or service providers engaged under current contracts. * Monitor engineering project progress across technical aspects, schedule adherence, and delivery quality, as well as contracted deliverables from external companies, through rigorous monitoring and application of project governance rules, ensuring alignment with approved contracts. * Establish interface with the implementation lead and ensure proper handover (final delivery) via alignment of assumptions and receipt of sign-offs (release documentation). * Define performance indicators for projects under your responsibility, track results, propose and implement corrective actions when necessary to meet defined targets. * Ensure correction of as-built discrepancies identified by the implementation team to guarantee fidelity between design documents and actual execution. * Provide operational guidance to the team and assign tasks to be performed in the area, facilitating and integrating team efforts to enhance effectiveness toward achieving results. * Be accountable for applying personnel competencies and time allocations to operations under your responsibility—assessing workload demands, individual needs, and legal compliance requirements—ensuring administrative aspects of employment relationships (e.g., vacations, timekeeping, role or location changes) are properly managed in coordination with the immediate manager. * Ensure all employees and/or third parties under your responsibility understand and comply with company policies and procedures, and maintain up-to-date training for operational execution per established procedures. * Evaluate employee and candidate performance, proposing allocation, development, and management actions to maximize competency utilization, retain high-potential talent, and build appropriately composed work teams—supporting sustainability, equitable treatment, employee satisfaction, and organizational outcomes. * Request disciplinary actions or penalties from HR or Risk Management in cases of non-compliance with company policies and procedures. * Develop competencies of team members under your responsibility, ensuring their participation in promoted events and effective implementation of succession plans for managerial and critical positions. * Perform operational activities within the area as needed, addressing technical demands and training professionals for specific functions. * Direct necessary activities to mature projects, aiming to compose the following year’s project portfolio. * Act per instructions from the contract manager / support team to ensure process standardization. 2512160202201868033
