Continuous updates on tax and fiscal legislation The Tax Assistant assists in activities related to tax calculation and payment, ensures compliance with the company's tax and fiscal obligations, records tax entries, prepares documents and reports, and collaborates with the tax team to ensure compliance with current legislation. **Key Responsibilities:** **Tax Entries:** 1\. Record incoming and outgoing invoices in the system. 2\. Review and validate received tax documents, ensuring compliance with legislation. **Tax Calculation:** 1\. Assist in calculating direct and indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, ISS, PIS, COFINS, among others). **Ancillary Obligations:** 1\. Assist in preparing and submitting ancillary obligations, such as SPED Fiscal, SPED Contributions, DCTF, DIRF, and others. 2\. Ensure all ancillary obligations are submitted correctly and within legal deadlines. **Tax Reconciliation:** 1\. Perform tax reconciliations, ensuring accurate accounting of calculated and paid taxes. 2\. Identify and correct possible inconsistencies or discrepancies in tax accounts. **Audit Support:** 1\. Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing requested documents and reports. 2\. Assist in implementing audit recommendations to improve internal tax controls. **Updates and Research:** 1\. Stay updated on changes in tax and fiscal legislation. 2\. Conduct research on tax and fiscal regulations to ensure corporate compliance. **Document Organization:** 1\. Organize and archive tax and accounting documents appropriately and accessibly. 2\. Ensure integrity and security of archived tax documents. **Customer Support:** 1 . Support customers regarding guidance on invoice issuance and tax liabilities.
