**Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities**

You will be responsible for performing emergency response activities, operating equipment, vehicles, and/or vessels, as well as carrying out various operational tasks—including cleaning, maintenance, and preservation of equipment and machinery—following safety guidelines established by your immediate supervisor. Additionally, you will assist in communication and interaction with communities that have been affected—or may potentially be affected. Furthermore, you will provide support for office-based administrative tasks and report completion.
**Requirements and Qualifications**

* Education: Completed High School
* Seaman’s Registration and Enrollment Record (CIR) for Deckhand Assistant or Deck Cadet
* Driver’s License Class B, C, or D
**Desirable**

The following will be considered advantageous for this position:
* NR 35 – Training for Work at Heights
* Proven experience in environmental emergencies
