You will be involved in planning, executing, and monitoring environmental practices, promoting impact prevention and proper management of waste and effluents. Your key responsibilities will be: * Developing and implementing the project’s Environmental Management Plan, aligned with ABNT, CONAMA, COPAM 08/2022, and other applicable legislation. * Conducting identification and assessment of environmental aspects and impacts associated with mobilization, installation, and demobilization activities. * Ensuring appropriate disposal of wastewater, solid waste, and effluents, including issuing disposal certificates. * Coordinating waste segregation and storage in accordance with ABNT NBR 13463 and CONAMA Resolution 275/2001, including selective collection and scheduled disposal. * Monitoring and controlling atmospheric emissions (opacity testing for diesel vehicles – ABNT NBR 7027). * Supervising safe chemical storage, ensuring compliance with ABNT NBR 17160 and NBR 17505, as well as managing Safety Data Sheets (SDS). * Guaranteeing availability and control of potable water, supported by potability test reports. * Implementing environmental mitigation kits (ABNT NBR 9735) and contingency plans for environmental incidents. * Leading environmental awareness campaigns and training for operational teams, including responsible consumption practices and impact prevention. * Preparing and presenting monthly environmental KPI reports and Performance Indicators (IDA), as required by the client. * Conducting weekly environmental inspections at the construction site and supporting monthly regulatory audits. * Supporting the engineering team in critical project reviews to ensure environmentally sound solutions. * Ensuring compliance with environmental licensing requirements, water use permits, and the client’s internal standards. **Preferred qualifications:** * Technical or undergraduate degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or related fields; * Familiarity with ABNT, ISO 14001, COPAM, CONAMA standards, and applicable environmental legislation; * Experience in waste management, effluent control, and emissions monitoring; * Ability to prepare technical reports and environmental performance indicators; * Experience in industrial or infrastructure projects within the mining sector is desirable; * Knowledge of integrated management tools and sustainability indicators. **Why join Engemon:** Working at Engemon means becoming part of a company with a rich history, tackling a diverse range of stimulating projects, accessing opportunities for personal development, engaging with an organizational culture that values collaboration, health, and wellbeing, and contributing to projects that generate positive impacts.
