Your role will span end-to-end: from training and experimenting with models to building the API that serves them. You will contribute to systems integrating AI and databases, participating daily in development with an investigative mindset. We seek individuals who enjoy technological challenges, possess autonomy to propose solutions, and wish to grow by bridging Software Engineering and Data Science. **Essential Requirements:** ------------------------------ Requirements Back\-End System Development and Maintenance: Train, fine\-tune, and maintain machine learning models focused on computer vision. Design and evolve secure, high-performance RESTful APIs (FastAPI) to expose developed models. Model, integrate, and optimize relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) for structured application data storage and metadata/results from AI inferences. Apply software engineering best practices daily: technical documentation, code reviews, and testing. Integration and Support: Ensure efficient integration between Back\-End and Front\-End, aligning contracts, data formats, and behavioral expectations. Support production systems by analyzing incidents and proposing fixes. Assist QA teams in designing test scenarios, especially for API workflows. Optimization and Performance: Optimize AI inferences to ensure models respond within acceptable timeframes. Refactor and improve performance of queries and business logic in Python and databases. Interact with queuing systems and asynchronous routines for image and data processing. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay current with trends, libraries, and best practices in Back\-End development and AI. Participate in incident analyses, identifying root causes and learning from errors. Gradually contribute to the evolution of microservices and CI/CD practices. Stakeholder and Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, and peers to align technical requirements and assess AI feasibility. Participate in demos, planning sessions, and retrospectives, ensuring transparency regarding model and API progress. Post\-Delivery Monitoring and Continuous Improvement: Conduct technical validations after deploying new models or endpoints to production.
