MINING ASSISTANT US

Responsible for supporting operational activities related to rock blasting. **Responsibilities and duties** * Unload accessories and explosives into the magazine, as well as withdraw them for field use. * Supply UMBs and UMRs with necessary products. * Prepare pre\-cut materials and load and secure them on the bench. * Isolate the area to be loaded and distribute accessories on the bench according to immediate supervisor's instructions. * Support field operations including signaling/isolating the area to be loaded, loading holes with UMBs/UMRs, stemming holes, connecting (pyrotechnic or electronic blasting), and inspecting the bench before blasting, checking for leftover accessories, explosives, materials, and delay connections, detonating cord, safety fuse, and electronic initiation system cables. * Assist in charging explosives and insert hose into the hole, communicating the start and end of pumping for each hole. * Clear blocked holes if necessary and assist in verifying hole depth. * Perform verification and stemming of loaded holes as directed by the immediate supervisor. * Inform the operator about remaining material in the vehicle that may require replenishment. * Verify the amount of leftover material from the previous shift (accessories) for possible reuse. * Carry out the scanning process for accessories and explosives and allocate them to their respective plans. * Conduct the return scanning process for accessories and explosives at the end of each work shift. * Assist the immediate supervisor in inspecting the completed work area. * Report to the immediate supervisor any nonconformities in the work area (stoppages, gases, pollution, etc.). * Instruct the operator to begin cleaning the hose, then coil and collect it. * Assist in securing the area, restricting entry of equipment and personnel during detonation. * Operate light vehicles when licensed and properly trained. * Maintain and clean equipment used in operations. * Support other areas' activities when needed and under the supervision of the immediate supervisor. * Assist the Operator with minor maintenance on UMB, compressor, diaphragm pump, EBE, and Skid Nitrito. **Requirements and qualifications** Minimum education level:**Completed Elementary Education** Desired education level:**High School in progress** With the strength of Grupo Enaex, one of the world leaders in ammonium nitrate production, Enaex Brasil is the market leader and customer satisfaction champion in the country.
