Junior Buyer (Temporary)

Description: Job Mission: As a Junior Buyer, your mission is to develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure efficient acquisition of materials, products, and services, securing the best commercial terms. You will collect requisitions, issue purchase orders, request quotations, record negotiated prices, and conduct technical analyses such as ABC analysis and scheduling. You will also monitor inventories, control stock levels, and perform other activities related to the procurement area. Job Activities: * Work in the supply department, either generally or specialized, in procurement, internal and external logistics, production scheduling, and materials planning. * Request quotations, evaluate proposals, and negotiate commercial terms (price, delivery time, and quality). * Conduct analyses such as ABC analysis and scheduling, as well as prepare and analyze competitive benchmarking maps. * Monitor order status, payment processes, and returns of non-conforming goods. * Monitor expiration dates of contracts, letters, and licenses with suppliers. * Ensure supply of materials, equipment, services, and inputs requested by internal departments. * Research purchasing opportunities and visit suppliers when necessary. * Verify supplier quality, reliability, and financial and legal health, as well as conduct periodic performance evaluations. * Seek suppliers aligned with ESG policies whenever possible. * Maintain good relationships with suppliers, promoting long-term partnerships. * Collaborate with other departments to understand procurement needs and ensure alignment with market demands and trends.
