We are currently seeking a professional for the position of **Biologist I**. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION** Perform Molecular and Cellular Biology protocols based on Genetics knowledge, as required by research projects and laboratory routines. Teach and monitor the proper use of department equipment. Represent the department in the absence of immediate leadership. Train department students/interns on the use of equipment involved in molecular and cellular biology techniques. Prepare specific solutions and reagents for laboratory routine. Forecast purchases of laboratory materials and manage inventory of supplies. Perform sterilization and autoclaving of laboratory materials. Participate in the monitoring and contingency plan for storage chambers, refrigerators, UPS systems, and freezers within the department. Develop work schedules and supervise good laboratory practices within the department. **REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS** Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences.
