Data Center Technician
**Location:** Hortolândia \- São Paulo – Brazil
**About the Role:**
The Data Center Technician plays a critical role in the operation, maintenance, and technical support of the data center environment, performing tasks that require advanced technical expertise and autonomy. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, installation, maintenance, component replacement, testing, analysis of technical reports, and incident management — always ensuring environment availability and functionality. The technician is also responsible for proposing improvements, preparing detailed reports, and directly collaborating with internal teams and clients to optimize processes and resolve issues.
**Job Responsibilities:**
* Conduct regular inspections, correct identified failures, and perform adjustments on systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
* Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and propose preventive and corrective solutions based on technical data.
* Monitor KPIs, assess demands, and plan actions aligned with data center needs, prioritizing critical activities.
* Identify faults in servers, racks, cabinets, and peripherals, replacing components promptly and with technical precision.
* Enter detailed information about preventive and corrective maintenance, close service orders, and maintain an updated history.
* Use specialized equipment to verify integrity and performance of optical connections and structured cabling.
* Evaluate operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and suggest changes or updates to the technical team.

* Input real-time information into systems regarding operational status, tickets, and requests.
* Conduct inventory, control incoming and outgoing items, and ensure materials are available for immediate use.
* Comply with internal and external regulations, use PPE, and follow quality standards.
* Collaborate professionally and proactively to deliver rapid and effective solutions to assigned tasks.
* Maintain a collaborative and professional attitude in all interactions, seeking agile and effective solutions.
* Act responsibly, ensuring compliance with RISE values and CBRE’s Global Code of Conduct.
**Requirements:**
* Technical degree in Information Technology, Electrotechnology, or Telecommunications.
* Required knowledge of IT applied in data center environments, such as: racks, servers, switches, routers, optical cables.
* English and Spanish proficiency preferred.
