Production Planner (PPCP)

Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for managing and coordinating the production workflow, optimizing resources and maximizing productivity to ensure efficiency and quality. Performance indicator (KPI) analysis and maintenance The professional will be responsible for managing and coordinating the production workflow—from demand forecasting to final delivery—ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and in accordance with quality standards. This will be achieved through optimized resource utilization (materials, labor, and equipment) and productivity maximization. Key responsibilities include: Production Planning: * Develop and implement detailed production plans (short-, medium-, and long-term) based on demand forecasts and factory production capacity. * Prepare and manage daily/weekly production schedules, defining manufacturing orders and sequences. Material and Inventory Control: * Determine and requisition raw materials, components, and supplies (MRP – Material Requirements Planning) * Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking, collaborating with the Procurement department * Control material flow between production stages. Coordination: * Identify bottlenecks and deviations in the production process, proposing and implementing corrective actions and contingency plans * Pursue continuous improvement of planning and production processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Monitoring and Reporting: * Track production order progress and on-time delivery performance (OTIF – On-Time, In-Full) * Analyze and maintain production KPIs, such as efficiency, productivity, capacity utilization, and costs * Prepare and present managerial reports on production status and performance. Requirements: Behavioral Skills (Soft Skills): Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Clear and effective communication, with good negotiation and teamwork skills.
