Development of safety and health programs **Job Description:** Responsible for participating in the development and implementation of occupational health and safety policies; Conducting assessments of the organization's applicable OHS regulations; Identifying variables related to disease control, accident prevention, quality of life, and environmental protection; Conducting educational, awareness-raising, and training activities in the field of occupational health and safety; Investigating and critically analyzing work-related accidents, incidents, and occurrences, and recommending preventive and control measures; Issuing the Work Accident Communication (CAT) when necessary; Preparing statistical reports related to occupational safety and ongoing action plans; Overseeing the development and administration of the Occupational Risk Assessment Program (PPRA) and the Occupational Medicine Program (PCMSO); Implementing and monitoring internal safety procedures and regulations, including their dissemination, employee training, and guidance; Conducting onboarding training for new employees and third-party contractors; Managing third-party documentation; Collaborating with the Internal Commission for Accident Prevention (CIPA) and the Emergency Response Team throughout their selection/election process, monthly meetings, and action planning—ensuring requested actions are fulfilled and providing technical support to CIPA members and emergency responders; Performing preliminary risk analyses (APR) prior to authorizing work activities and monitoring high-risk tasks; Issuing the Individual Occupational Profile (PPP), arranging form completion and documenting delivery; Monitoring the company's Ergonomics and Workplace Exercise Programs; Ensuring compliance with applicable Regulatory Norms (NRs), advising involved departments on required criteria, participating in improvement teams and new developments, and tracking action plans for implementing improvements; Managing, maintaining, and updating the legal compliance monitoring management program; Performing inspection checklists for facilities and equipment controls, requesting necessary corrections and following up on corrective actions; Defining service orders and providing guidance/training to employees; Coordinating government agency inspections and those conducted by occupational health and safety entities; Participating in labor information gathering and expert evaluations; Overseeing the management of occupational health and safety documents, including expiration tracking and external agency submissions; Developing protections for existing hazards, always prioritizing elimination, then containment, and finally personal protective equipment; Controlling and authorizing access to high-risk activities—including electricity, equipment movement, chemical substances, classified areas, working at heights, and confined space work; Assisting leadership with reporting, KPIs, and departmental activity management; Supporting supplier development for occupational health and safety equipment and protective solutions; Actively contributing to continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (SGI). **Requirements:** Completed Technical Education in Occupational Safety, with active registration at the Ministry of Labor (M.T.e) Driver’s License Category B; Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering (preferred); Intermediate English proficiency (preferred); Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency.
