But we aim higher: to shape the future of work. **About the team** You will join Hubla’s **Content Consumption Team**, responsible for the entire experience of courses, communities, mentorships, and video lessons on our platform. Here, engineers, designers, and the CEO collaborate end-to-end in defining and executing the product strategy. **Challenges** * Scale our platform to support rapid user growth and increased traffic volume. * Implement long-term new features already defined in our roadmap, ensuring flexibility and resilience. * Maintain high service quality with focus on **performance**, **reliability**, and **user experience**. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and implement scalable systems based on event-driven architecture. * Analyze usage and engagement data to propose and prioritize new features. * Collaborate closely with leadership to define requirements and deliverables. * Technically lead critical initiatives, serving as a reference for other team members. * Ensure clean code, automated tests, and efficient CI/CD processes. **Tech Stack** * **Backend:** Go (Golang), gRPC * **Frontend / Auxiliary Services:** TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS * **Infrastructure:** Cloud-based microservices, event queues, CDNs, observability, and CI/CD pipelines **Desired Profile** * Strong experience with **Go** and **event-driven architectures**. * Experience in large-scale projects, in a central or technical leadership role. * Owner mindset, user-focused, and proactive in solving problems. * Ability to negotiate trade-offs and deliver simple solutions amid complex contexts. * Excellent communication and collaborative spirit within cross-functional squads. * Desirable knowledge in database topics such as: **Planner & Executor** * Interpret execution plans. * Tune queries and statistics to influence the optimizer. **Index Structures** * Compare trade-offs of index structures. * Identify when to create or remove indexes based on access patterns. **Partitioning & Sharding** * Define partitioning strategies. * Understand impacts on query planning and maintenance. * Understand principles of data distribution for scalability. **Locking & Concurrency Control** * Understand MVCC and snapshots. * Choose appropriate isolation levels. * Detect and resolve lock contention and deadlocks. **Culture and Values** * **Grit:** We tackle ambitious challenges and persist until delivery. * **User Focus:** Every line of code must improve the journey of those consuming our content. * **Initiative:** We value those who propose, test, and rapidly iterate on ideas that generate impact. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Design and evolve high-performance, highly available systems. * Work with event-driven architecture, microservices, and distributed systems. * Participate in technical decision-making and definition of strategically impactful solutions. * Collaborate with experienced engineers, pursuing excellence and continuous improvement. **REQUIREMENTS** * Solid experience as a software engineer, with backend focus. * Advanced knowledge of distributed systems architecture. * Clear, concise, and strong written communication skills. * Autonomy, proactivity, and owner mindset. * Interest in working in a collaborative environment with real technical challenges and high impact. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Experience with Golang. * Knowledge of infrastructure. * Familiarity with messaging, queues, and event-driven architecture.
