Start your journey with us today. **Title:** SIT.03\.S50\-Lead Technical\&Support **Location:** Espirito Santo (Ubu), BR **Job Closing Date:** 30 Dec 2025 **What will you be doing?** **Position Description** The Base Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of work performed by the Subsea 7 team and subcontractors, in accordance with applicable legislation, standards, project requirements, company policies and procedures. The professional must manage all personnel under their responsibility, providing support in pipe fabrication, spooling and vessel loading activities. The base supervisor is also responsible for all aspects of pipe handling and base logistical operations, and must ensure that all operations under their supervision comply with Subsea 7 requirements, including HSE requirements. All activities must be conducted in line with Subsea7's code of conduct, vision and values, including Responsibility for Safety. **Main Responsibilities and Challenges** * Promote a safety culture throughout the team, contributing to the implementation and use of Subsea 7's occupational safety system; * Participate, when requested, in routine safety activities such as Safety Walks, Safety Stops, Safety Meetings, among others; * Responsible for the safe execution of field activities in compliance with relevant legislation, contract terms, and project and Subsea 7 procedures; * Responsible for keeping the Base Operations Coordinator informed of any changes in operational status or any additional project requirements beyond those expected and accepted during shift briefing meetings; * Provide support in base activities such as: pipe handling operations, preparation and use of forms (TBT, TRA, Lift Plans, Permits, etc.), according to Subsea 7 procedures, among others; * Carry out SIMOPS management; * Ensure that all company procedures are in place before starting any operation under their responsibility; * Be familiar with and implement Subsea 7's Change Management process and procedures; * Interface with project teams, subcontractors and clients when necessary to identify critical work components; * Ensure that all lifting and handling equipment are in satisfactory condition regarding performance, maintenance and have the necessary calibrations for safe operation; * Halt any operation under their supervision if they determine that any malfunction or improper equipment operation could compromise safety and/or successful completion of the operation; * Organize, prepare and conduct proper shift handover to the next on-duty Supervisor; * Maximize synergies between the project, subcontractors and base facility personnel; * Actively work after the implementation of Subsea 7’s Competency Assurance Program for personnel involved in operations under their supervision; * Report all near misses and incidents to the HSE Coordinator and Base Operations Coordinator; * Manage and address deviations and other records related to company procedures during their shift using Synergi; * Perform any other tasks as directed by the Base Manager. **What experience would we like you to have?** **Skills and Experience** * Solid knowledge of offshore operations, logistical and/or remote bases. * Experience in team leadership and in the Oil \& Gas industry. * Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI is desirable. * Intermediate English proficiency for conversation. *We value diversity and see differences as opportunities rather than barriers, ensuring conditions for the full development of our professionals and also for society.* *\* All our positions are open to persons with disabilities and/or rehabilitated individuals\** **An environment where you can thrive** We recognise that having a diverse team makes us a better, smarter team.
