We encourage people from all kinds of social groups to join our community, so that—despite vastly different origins and realities—we can nurture our shared aspiration to dream big and evolve into better professionals and human beings—for ourselves and for the world. **Your main responsibilities** * Design and implement modern data architectures (Data Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture, and AI model productization), ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. * Define best practices for maintainability of data pipelines (ETL/ELT), using modern technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Kafka, Airflow, and Databricks. * Work on modeling and architecture of relational and distributed databases, optimizing performance and costs. * Create and optimize SQL queries and process large volumes of data using Spark and Delta Lake. * Structure and apply data governance, quality, and security policies, with focus on LGPD and GDPR. * Implement data observability and monitoring mechanisms, ensuring traceability, integrity, and performance of data loads. * Integrate data across cloud environments (Azure), ensuring high availability, resilience, and reliability. * Integrate data solutions with platforms such as SAP (not mentioned in the new announcement). * Support and review implementations in Python and data frameworks, guiding technical and business teams. * Version and automate data workflows via Git, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions, focusing on CI/CD and DataOps. Lead technical documentation, workshops, and architecture reviews, promoting best practices and corporate standardization. * **Minimum requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields. * Solid experience in data engineering and architecture. * Knowledge of data management frameworks such as DMBOK. * Experience integrating data via APIs, as well as ETL and Data Warehousing. * Proficiency in SQL, Spark, Delta Lake, Python, and ETL/ELT tools. * Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure), including Data Factory, Airflow, Databricks, and Analysis Services. * Experience with Kafka and Confluent Kafka, including streaming integrations (Spark Structured Streaming, real-time read/write). * Knowledge of Azure Virtual Network (VPN/SNET) and secure integration between services and data pipelines. * Solid experience in observability, monitoring, and automation of data pipelines. * Knowledge of governance, security, versioning, and access control. * Practical experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions, CI/CD, and agile methodologies. Proven ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects, with business acumen and results orientation. * **Nice-to-have qualifications** The skills listed below are not required for this position, but may help distinguish you in this selection process: * Postgraduate degree, specialization, or master’s program focused on data architecture, big data, or data engineering. * Certifications in Azure Data, Databricks, Airflow, Streaming, or Data Architecture. * Experience in high-volume environments and streaming solutions. * Hands-on experience implementing end-to-end pipeline observability and data monitoring. * Familiarity with DataOps, MLOps, and automated data governance. * Knowledge of industrial time-series databases (PIMS, PI System) and Automation & IIoT Architecture (sensors, SCADA, PLC).
