Description:
Required Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Administration, Economics, or related fields.
Desired Knowledge:
* Project management and control expertise
* Proficient knowledge of planning tools such as MS Project and Primavera;
* Data analysis skills;
* Computer literacy, with emphasis on advanced Excel;
* Communication skills;
* Proactivity in performing tasks;

As a Planning Engineer, you will:
* Serve as the planning team leader for the project/construction.
* Participate in handover meetings for each new project; develop coordination guidelines.
* Be accountable for planning, scheduling, measurement, and control.
* Manage the development, monitoring, and updating of project schedules using tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
* Generate S-curves — Physical/Financial — for the project and monitor them.
* Develop the WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and monitor the project histogram.
* Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop the EVA (Earned Value Analysis), a document used to monitor the project’s financial performance.
* Be responsible for preparing and finalizing Measurement Reports together with Project Managers for submission to the client.
* Monitor updates to document lists and pending items.
* Conduct weekly, biweekly, or monthly progress meetings with technical staff, managers, and clients.
* Coordinate with Project Managers on matters related to physical, economic, and financial performance of their contracts.
* Monitor area control demands, such as contract adjustments, project indicators, and project status.
