Job Summary: Materials Coordinator responsible for ensuring physical stock inspection, performing follow-up with suppliers and GM, managing receiving flow, monitoring inventory and scrap processes, and maintaining area organization. Coordinate cyclic counting and physical inventory processes **Materials Coordinator Opportunity** We currently have an open opportunity for a Materials Coordinator based in our Gravataí/RS location. **Primary Job Responsibilities** * Ensure the Physical Inspection daily in stock to track Minimum and Maximum and forward actions to correct deviations. * Follow up with suppliers of purchased items and GM for consigned items. * Set up daily Receiving window, and track the flow of trailers with carriers or GM, ensuring the safety of unloading and loading empty containers. * Accompany the scraps process with the appropriate system release * Request issuance of NFs for return of consigned items for various reasons. * Process critical item counts with CSN. * Perform daily inventory counts of finished items. * Generate production notes in the system. * Coordinate the process of cyclic counting and counting reconciliations. * Follow the process of Annual Physical Inventory. * Ensure area organization (5s), such as inventory alignment, FIFO. * Maintain Receiving and Inventory areas at all times according to layout, including issuing Inventory address labels and Usage Points always properly updated with correct addresses, allowed stacking height and Min/Max. * Follow the daily checklists of equipment and trigger the maintenance of them. * Monitor KPIs of the area. * Keep area documents up to date, such as Standardized Work (SWS), PFMEA, etc. **Expectations** **Qualifications and experiences** Desirable: * Dynamic; * Negotiation skills (with all levels) and problem-solving ability; * Ability to handle pressure; * Articulate to build alliances with other departments; * Resilience. * Experience in Logistics; * Proficiency in Excel; * Completed undergraduate degree. * Availability for shift work; * Knowledge of problem analysis and resolution methodologies; * Knowledge of process mapping and standardized work.
