Job Summary: The Project Designer is responsible for developing and coordinating hydrosanitary projects, ensuring technical quality, regulatory compliance, and economic feasibility. Technical analysis and technical-commercial alignment The **Project Designer** is responsible for developing and coordinating hydrosanitary projects, ensuring technical quality, regulatory compliance, and economic feasibility. Their challenge is to ensure system efficiency, meet deadlines, and support the team for smooth project and construction progress. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Receive, analyze, and manage project demands related to Infrastructure Directorate installations. * Conduct technical and financial studies to support hydrosanitary projects. * Define and submit hydraulic and sanitary system concepts in accordance with sound engineering principles, quality, and safety standards. * Organize and monitor team tasks, optimizing schedules and supporting technical drawing modeling. * Provide engineering support for the development and progress of hydrosanitary construction works. * Perform technical analysis and support decisions to meet architectural and complementary project requirements. * Lead quotation processes and technical-commercial alignment for hydrosanitary infrastructure and equipment. * Prepare descriptive memoranda and technical specifications for services and systems. * Carry out area-specific activities using specialized equipment and software. * Perform other duties compatible with the position. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Prerequisites:** * Technical Course in Building Construction; * Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; * Proven professional experience in developing and detailing hydrosanitary projects in compliance with current technical standards. **Desired Technical Competencies:** * Ability to create and manipulate calculation spreadsheets, control sheets, configure charts, and dynamic and interactive dashboards using the tool; * Ability to interact with manuals and instructions in the relevant field in English; * Ability to create and update documents in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.; * Ability to communicate formally and clearly in writing, adhering to Portuguese language rules and standards; * Ability to create and update projects in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, etc. **Additional Information** **Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)** * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Daycare reimbursement; * Education assistance covering up to 80% of undergraduate tuition fees and 50% of postgraduate, language, and extension course tuition fees; * Free parking; * Complementary private pension plan; * Life insurance; * Year-end recess. *If you believe in meaningful work that creates value and positive impact on society and the University,* ***JOIN PUCRS!*** At PUCRS, we believe every person can transform the world—and this belief drives us daily to become all that we can be.
