Join us to **thrive** and become part of our team! #vemsersms #shapingthefuture #turningmetalsgreen **Responsibilities and Duties** * Support the Occupational Safety and Medicine area by analyzing, developing, and implementing projects, procedures, and standards; * Support health, safety, and environmental management systems by establishing methods and techniques for preventing occupational accidents and diseases in operations, ensuring maintenance of the occupational health and safety management system; * Comply with—and ensure compliance with—health, safety, and environmental procedures in all activities performed at SMS Group and its subsidiaries, aiming for zero accidents; * Conduct technical site visits to assess scenarios, define safety resources and items, thereby supporting the development of technical and commercial proposals; * Carry out occupational safety-related activities, proposing standards and corrective and preventive measures against accidents, recommending safety equipment and devices according to risk exposures arising from operational activities; * Implement risk management and control techniques to mitigate or eliminate risks and prevent occupational accidents and diseases; * Develop and review mandatory occupational safety programs and safety procedures, as well as support occupational health management in collaboration with partner clinics/service providers; * Propose occupational safety standards and policies, monitoring their implementation; * Support company and team mobilization at customer sites regarding occupational health and safety aspects. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What we expect from you for this position:** * Technical degree in Occupational Safety; * Knowledge of Regulatory Standards (NR); * Experience in industrial or metallurgical environments; * Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems; * Knowledge of risk management tools; * Willingness to travel; * Valid Brazilian driver’s license (Category B); * Intermediate Microsoft Office package proficiency. **What would be a differentiator:** * Knowledge of Power BI; * Knowledge of SAP and SOC; * Experience conducting Health, Safety, and Environmental audits. **Additional Information** We are looking for people who want to grow and innovate with us.
