This professional will be responsible for activities ranging from technical consulting and specialized support to operational coordination, while directly contributing to Orica Brazil’s New Business initiatives. **What You’ll Do** * Plan, coordinate, and supervise explosive application activities in mining, civil construction, and aggregate operations, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with technical standards; * Monitor and control blast design parameters using monitoring and analysis tools; * Provide technical consulting and customer support, ensuring excellence in execution and client satisfaction; * Manage operational teams, ensuring quality in drill measurement, control of explosive charge application, and assessment of safety conditions at working faces; * Participate in strategic projects and collaborate with the New Business area, proposing innovative solutions for clients; * Conduct post-blast analyses and propose continuous process improvements. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering; * Prior experience in open-pit and/or underground mining; experience in civil construction or aggregates will be considered an advantage; * Knowledge of blasting techniques, safe handling of explosives, and safety procedures; * Familiarity with local and international regulations governing explosive handling; * Project management skills, from planning through post-operational evaluation; * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and multidisciplinary teams; * Commitment to safe practices and ability to implement rigorous safety measures; * Intermediate or advanced English/Spanish proficiency for interaction with global teams—this will be an advantage. **What We Offer**As part of a truly global company, you’ll have the opportunity to grow and learn within a diverse and collaborative culture.
