CNC Milling Programmer

Description

Job Summary: Responsible for programming, setting up, and adjusting CNC milling machines to manufacture parts, ensuring quality, accuracy, and productivity, while optimizing programs and monitoring the machining process. Key Highlights: 1. Program optimization and machining process monitoring 2. Technical drawing interpretation and CNC program development 3. Dimensional inspection and process deviation correction Responsible for programming, setting up, and adjusting CNC milling machines to manufacture parts according to technical drawings and customer specifications. Must ensure process quality, accuracy, and productivity by optimizing programs and monitoring the machining process. * Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing plans, and production orders; * Develop CNC programs for milling machines using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM, etc.); * Select appropriate cutting tools, cutting parameters, and machining strategies; * Perform machine setup: tool mounting, workpiece clamping, and machine/workpiece zero setting; * Make direct program adjustments on the machine control panel when necessary; * Monitor production to ensure part conformity; * Conduct dimensional inspections using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.); * Correct any process or quality deviations; * Maintain organized and updated programs per company standards; * Complete production and quality records; * Ensure proper maintenance of machines, tools, and the working environment; * Comply with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
