Supporting internal departments of the company **Position: Import Assistant** ---------------------------------- We are seeking an **Import Assistant** to handle operational routines of import processes, ensuring customs compliance, logistical efficiency, and support to internal departments. ### **Responsibilities** * Monitor and record incidents in import processes, assisting in resolving cargo-related issues. * Track international shipments and customs clearance, ensuring deadlines are met and flagging potential delays. * Support the fiscal classification of goods and calculation of taxes and costs. * Assist in reviewing work instructions related to OEA certification. * Control and organize import documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, DI/LI, certificates). * Prepare and update import status reports for decision-making. * Issue Import Entry Tax Invoice and verify DI. * Provide support to Procurement and Logistics departments regarding receipt scheduling. * Monitor container returns, damages, and cleaning at depots. * Enter and update data in systems (ERP and spreadsheets) – costs, taxes, and fees. * Maintain communication with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers. * Track payments for freight, customs duties, and related expenses. * Perform verification of import purchase orders. * Ensure compliance with regulations and requirements set forth by the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service and other regulatory bodies. ### **Technical Requirements** * Basic knowledge of fiscal classification, cost calculation, and NCM identification. * Attention to deadlines and regulatory compliance. * Organizational and documentary control skills. * Strong communication skills with logistics agents. * Basic understanding of shipping and customs clearance procedures. * Data entry into ERP systems and spreadsheets. ### **Education and Experience** * Completed high school education (technical or undergraduate degree in International Trade, Logistics, or related fields is preferred). * **6 months to 2 years** of experience in import operations, documentary control, and coordination with logistics agents. **Benefits** -------------- * **Pluxee Food Card – BRL 430.00/month** * **Lunch at the company** (symbolic payroll deduction of BRL 1.00) * **Life Insurance** * **Transportation Voucher**, as needed (legal deduction of 6%) * **Health Plan – GNDI or Unimed** * 50% of the monthly premium covered by the employee * 70% of the monthly premium for dependents * Co-payments apply when applicable * **Dental Plan – Unimed Odonto** * 50% of the monthly premium covered by the employee * 100% of the monthly premium for dependents * **Pharmacy Benefit – Ecx Card** * **Gympass** Minimum Education Level: High School (Secondary Education)
