What’s Your Day\-to\-Day Like?* Execute high-complexity activities per technical instructions from the department, including: * General disassembly; * Cleaning and preparation of parts; * General assembly not requiring torque control; * Reading of Process Instructions; * Disassembly of locomotives/components, propulsion equipment, and powered wheelsets; * General assembly requiring torque control; * Use of induction heaters; * Reading and interpretation of drawings; * Use of controlled metrology equipment; * Operation of boiler shop machines/equipment; * Material transaction in the system; * Collection and segregation of materials; * Kit assembly; * Material allocation; * Dispatch of materials to internal and external customers; * Execution of cyclic and rotating inventory activities; * Material presentation; * Operation of forklifts/platforms/tugs; * Analysis and control of material distribution to internal customers; * Opportunity to perform mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic activities per departmental technical instructions, including: * Precision mechanical alignment; * Precision mechanical assembly; * Ability to measure interference, leakage, and mechanical components; * Balancing; * Adjustments and interchangeability; * Mechanical seating; * Electrical/electronic schematics and components; * Use of electrical measurement equipment; * Diagnosis and repair of electronic components; * Proposing improvements to electrical schematics; * Compliance with NR10; * Bending pipes in 2D and 3D; * Identifying and eliminating pneumatic leaks and failures; * Filling out daily process and quality control reports as established by the Quality department. * Organizing and preparing the workplace according to the activity to be performed, following process instructions and EHS guidelines. * Contributing ideas and executing process improvements – Kaizen Program; * Complying with integrity and Compliance guidelines, as well as company EHS standards and procedures. * Ensuring proper storage conditions for materials to prevent deterioration and loss.
