Job Summary: We are seeking an organized and analytical Accounting Assistant to support accounting routines, asset control, inventories, reconciliations, and closings at our Center of Excellence. Key Highlights: 1. Support for accounting routines and asset control. 2. Conducting inventories, reconciliations, and accounting closings. 3. Acting as internal auditor and executing statutory declarations. We have an opportunity for an **Accounting Assistant** to work at our **Center of Excellence**. We seek an organized and analytical individual to support accounting routines, asset control, inventories, reconciliations, and closings, contributing to compliance and accuracy of departmental information. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Manage acquisitions, disposals, and transfers of fixed assets; issue reports and verify information. * Maintain accounting control over internally manufactured assets, verifying and adjusting allocations to accounts. * Conduct physical and cyclical asset inventories to ensure accurate asset records. * Perform account and balance reconciliations. * Prepare asset-related reports and provide information for audits and regulatory bodies (IBGE, ITR). * Assist with monthly accounting closings by organizing information and verifying journal entries. * Act as internal auditor during inventories, verifying accounting records and applicable standards. * Prepare statutory declarations such as ITR and DIMOB, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. * Respond to internal service requests, clarifying questions related to the accounting area. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education. * Undergraduate studies in Accounting (in progress) is a plus. * Intermediate Excel proficiency. * Dynamic, analytical, focused profile, committed to deadlines, and eager to grow within the field. * Availability to work in Farroupilha/RS. **Additional Information** On-site work at the Center of Excellence in Farroupilha/RS.
