The Drilling Machine Operator will be responsible for operating drilling machines (bench, column, radial, among others) to machine metal components, ensuring quality, precision, and compliance with production deadlines, following technical and safety standards. **Responsibilities:** Prepare and adjust the drilling machine according to the type of part and technical specifications (speed, feed, workpiece fixation, etc.). Center and secure parts in fixtures (vises, clamps, supports, dividers, etc.) to prevent deviations during machining. Activate start, feed, and stop controls of the machine, operating manually or automatically. Perform drilling, countersinking, reaming, counterboring, and tapping operations according to defined processes. Carry out measurements and inspections of machined parts (using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauges, etc.) to ensure they are within specified tolerances. Adjust machine parameters or replace tools when necessary to correct deviations or defects. Supply the tool with coolant/cutting fluid, ensuring adequate flow to prevent excessive heat and premature tool wear. Identify and report failures, defects, or irregularities in the machine, parts, or tools. Perform cleaning and lubrication of the machine and work area according to preventive maintenance standards. Assist, when necessary, in basic maintenance (adjustments, replacement of minor parts) or support the maintenance team. Strictly follow safety regulations, use of PPE, standardized operating procedures, and company best practices.
